Day 1 ~ Arrival, medieval villages & regional dinner

In the early afternoon, you will arrive at Podere del Buongustaio, where Adje Middelbeek and Jan Gerard will personally welcome you with a sparkling glass of prosecco.
After a moment of rest, we drive to Monteleone d'Orvieto, an enchanting medieval village overlooking the Val d'Orcia Valley and Monte Cetona.
In the evening, at Restaurant Seven, we enjoy a sophisticated dinner that breathes the soul of Umbria: pure regional products, fresh truffles, mushrooms and wines with character. Here, Michele Filosi and his mother cook with heart and soul, while brother Andrea provides the perfect wine experience as a sommelier.

Day 2 ~ Natural wines & truffle lunch, fine dining in Città della Pieve

After a relaxing breakfast, we leave for Paolo Bolla's Tenuta Fontesecca. In this organic winery, you can taste the essence of natural wine: pure, elegant and with minimal intervention.
This is followed by a lunch and tasting at Voglie di Bosco, an artisan shop where owner Doriane Moretti presents her homemade truffle products. Black truffle cheese, fresh salumi and local specialties are a symphony of flavors.
End the evening in style at Ristorante Crocus in Città della Pieve, where chef Davide Carboni reinvents Italian cuisine, with respect for tradition but with a modern twist. Each dish is a small piece of art, accompanied by carefully chosen Umbrian wines.

Day 3 ~ 1500 castle & cellar, truffle hunting & panoramic dinner

Today we visit the impressive Castello di Montegiove, owned by the Misciattelli family. On an exclusive tour, you'll discover ancient wine cellars, Beata Angelina's historic chapel, and stories that are deeply rooted in Umbrian history.
Then we head into the woods for an authentic truffle hunt with Alessio Mariani and his dogs, a unique experience that brings together the nature, smell and excitement of the moment.
The day ends at La Locanda della Picca, with panoramic views of the valley. Here you can taste Umbrian-Tuscan cuisine at its best: homemade pasta, perfectly grilled meat and fine wines.

Day 4 ~ Farm visit to Lake Trasimeno & final dinner

After breakfast, you'll visit Agricola Bittarelli, a family business that has been working with love on organic legumes, old grains and traditional pasta since 1940. During the tour, you'll discover how passion for quality and respect for the Earth come together in their products.
We have lunch at the estate, simple but exquisite, overlooking the rolling hills around Lake Trasimeno.
On the way back, we stop in Panicale for an aperitivo in an attractive Italian square.
We will end the evening with a festive final dinner at Restaurant Seven, where Michele and his family will once again prepare a sophisticated menu, a culinary embrace of Umbria, accompanied by the region's finest wines.

Day 5 ~ Arrivederci, Umbria

After breakfast, we say goodbye to each other and with a lot of new impressions and experiences, you can work at home with the inspiration and knowledge gained. Who wants to go back to the Netherlands and for enthusiasts who want to stay in Italy a little longer, they will move on to their next destination.
